Elcho Park Equestrian Centre

Elcho Park Equestrian Centre is a City of Greater Geelong owned equestrian facility in Lara, offering more than 30 hectares dedicated to horse riding, training and events. The venue continues to grow through ongoing upgrades and improvements, creating a safe, welcoming and functional space for riders and the wider equestrian community.

Facilities include a modern two-storey clubhouse, 100+ horse yards, multiple riding arenas, cross country infrastructure, wash bays and open spaces supporting competitions, clinics, rallies and recreational riding. Elcho Park is home to a vibrant equestrian community and is available for public use outside of scheduled events and bookings.

Friends of Elcho Park Inc

Friends of Elcho Park Inc (FOEP) is a partnership between Corio & Moorabool Pony Club and Westcoast Adult Riding Club, working together to support and enhance Elcho Park Equestrian Centre as a top-notch equestrian destination in Lara. Since 2008, FOEP has played a key role in developing and maintaining the venue for riders of all ages and disciplines.

From facility upgrades and grounds maintenance to supporting competitions, clinics and community events, FOEP is committed to creating a welcoming and sustainable space for the wider equestrian community. Guided by representatives from both resident clubs, FOEP continues to invest in the future of Elcho Park for generations to come.
